‘Swallow’ - Beautiful 1930’s Turtle Deck Slipper Launch
Half share available

|
| ‘Swallow’ is a 1930’s Andrews built slipper
launch in beautiful condition. She has a rare ‘turtle’ deck and is
reputed to be one of the very few left of her kind. She is moored on the
Henley reach and mooring and all costs would be split 50/50. We have
past bills from Peter Freebody's to confirm the work done on her over
the years and Rupert Latham carried out the electric conversion a couple
of years ago. She is 24.5ft and seats 4 comfortably. She has specially
made cushions, a hood and full winter cover. She is a lovely boat to
steer, very responsive. |
The 50% ownership would cost £15,000
and entitles the owner to 50% usage.
We have another electric boat, a beautiful gentleman's launch called Eglantine
and struggle to fit in using both of them as much as we would like, hence the
thought that a 50/50 share would allow us the best of both worlds.
